FAIRHOPE – The James P. Nix Center will offer Basic Latin dance classes beginning Thursday, March 6 at 5:30 p.m. The one hour class will meet every Thursday evening for 6 weeks at the Nix Center. Taught by dance instructor Skip Smith, the class will cover the social basics of Merengue, Cha Cha and Tango. Classes are $30 for Nix Center members for the six week class and $40 for non-members. The 2014 TriGulfCoast Youth Multisport Series - presented by Running Wild - begins March 9th with the Maritime de Luna Du Youth Duathlon in downtown Pensacola at the Community Maritime Park! This USAT-sanctioned run-bike-run race will take young athletes ages 6-15 on a tour of downtown Pensacola and the scenic Pensacola Bay waterfront, all on a safe, completely closed course.
