It's looking like Led Zeppelin will be following Pink Floyd in issuing expanded multimedia "immersion" collections of its classic albums, according to Classic Rock Magazine. Ultimate Classic Rock quoted Jimmy Page's manager Peter Mench as telling London's Sunday Times that guitarist is currently holed up in a London studio polishing off "21st-century versions" of Zeppelin's catalogue. Page had previously been behind the boards for the last string of reissues in the early-'90s. The expanded albums will likely feature unreleased songs and alternate takes, and will probably be released next year. Fans are curious as to what's left in the Zeppelin vault. Back in 2003, Jimmy Page, who spent six months producing the three-CD How The West Was Won set and the five-hour Led Zeppelin DVD, told us that the two projects emptied the Led Zeppelin vaults and that he couldn't foresee any more archival releases.
